In the last few days, I've been to a lot of events. I've supported the volleyball team Alessia plays in for home games for example. For every home game there's a theme actually: there's been jersey night and neon night, american night and tie dye.
I've seen my first football game ever and i still don't understand the rules oopss!!
Yesterday we went to a rodeo and I can tell that i'm not seeing myself riding a bull. I felt soo bad for the baby cows that were catched with a lasso😢 The way they all dress there was pretty fun tho, cowboy hats, spurs on their leather boots and big metallic belts haha

The toilets are unusual, you press a small little black button to flush. In the HS toilets you can literally see through the wall, there's like a hole for the toilet paper and you can see the person next to you !!! Like whaaat???? Privacy? None.
American windows don't have shutters that close just plissees that don't stop the light from waking you up at 7am on weekends... At least I can be productive in the mornings now. But i'm thinking on buying like an eye cover to be able to sleep a little bit haha
Oh yeah and when there's a game in school, we all stand up, hand on our hearts, all facing the flag and sing the national anthem. Every morning we do the same for the pledge of allegiance.
I knew that they weren't using kilometers and degrees celsius here but it's still confusing when someone says: " oh it's a hundred degrees outside" (fahrenheit of course haha)

Today was the first day of school !! I met a lot of people and i feel like they're way nicer and soo helpful. Classes are kinda different tho, you can eat, drink, walk around, listen if you want to. Nothing like France for sure. And the classes are very playful, with games, group works and a lot of debating. You can make your homework in class so you almost never have to do anything at home ( that changes from the hours we spend on homework in France). What we learn is easy, we started trig this week and we talked an hour about things we learned in 8th grade haha
School is sooo big tho!! I walked around in circles for 15 minutes to find the right classroom because the corridors all look the sameee. Oh yeah and we don't use books and paper here, everything is done on chromebooks with google classrooms. It has positiv and negative sides..
